Tirupati, December 20, 2025: Amara Raja Group, a $2 billion global conglomerate with presence in varied industries, celebrated its 40th Foundation Day with much joy and excitement. The Group that came into existence in 1985 as Amara Raja Power Systems has now transformed itself with 6 companies, 17 businesses and 21,000+ employee count.
As part of the Foundation Day celebration, the Group announced the winners of the Amara Raja Better Way Awards to take forward its legacy of providing better access to better opportunities. At the event, 3 rural entrepreneurs were selected and given Rs 3 lakh cash prize and one-year-long support.

The celebrations saw attendance from Amara Raja’s Founder Chairman Dr. Ramachandra Naidu Galla, Galla Aruna Kumari, Dr Ramadevi Gourineni, Harshavardhan Gourineni, Vikramadithya Gourineni, and the top leadership from the Group including the head of operations Mr. Narasimhulu Naidu.
